analysis of T1-22 students thriller

This Thriller covered all the criteria need, but it wasn't excellent it some areas. The area which stopped it reaching higher marks were the subtitles because they were very plain and didn't really fit into the film.
The editing was really good and it was like a montage of shots, but all the shot were relevant and they fitted into the opening of the film leaving an enigma. Although they didn't use a big variety of shots, the close us/extreme close up shots are very relevant to the genre as it doesn't show the whole of the subject so the audience doesn't see everything. They give shots that give the audience an idea of the film but let them make up there own idea of the plot. The shots were unclear, which place idea into the audiences head. The sound is very effective as it is distorted and you can really work the sound out, its contrapuntal sound. Its not really music but works even more effectively as the sound track, as the audience have to interpret the noises which makes it more enigmatic.
